The story of the Cretan products “the Manna” Tsatsaronakis is not an ordinary one. It is intertwined with tradition and created with passion and true perseverance for the authentic taste and pure ingredients of the Cretan land.

The production process
The company’s research and development department prepares special flour blends with desirable characteristics for the production and the consumer. Traditional recipes and production methods are consistently preserved in stone slabs of wood-fired ovens and in arrays of ovens and dryers and packing plants, with structured automation interventions. At the same time, the company is testing and adapting or renewing its mechanical equipment and modernizing its structures in order to improve productivity and product quality and to enhance its extroversion.

Quality assurance
The company applies successive quality assurance systems, from the receipt of raw materials to the production and the final product, with continuous controls. All products are produced according to international food safety standards. The production process incorporates a significant degree of vertical integration, follows European and international nutritional recommendations, promotes the principles of PGI products, complies with the demanding BRC, IFS and ISO 22000 certifications, the good practices of SEVT and the specific specifications (packaging, taste and organoleptic characteristics) of the major export markets. In addition, it is one of the few Greek companies that has FDA approved food production facilities. It also has the European certification “DIO” for its organic products. Our products are produced exclusively from fine raw materials of the Cretan land and follow faithfully the international standards of food production.
